Freshman: 
Freshman fundraising orders are in.  The following students can pick them up in the Health Room from Mr. Sikveland. Ryleigh Mittelstaed, Gavin Harris, Hadlay Dempewolf, Michael Hodous, Marissa Ward, Molly Eaton, Kaitlyn Casini, Madison Parsons, Alex Hophauf, Hannah Beach, Kyle Reynolds, Julia Crighton, Sierra Rowe.  

 

Hey, Seniors! It's Montana College Application Week.  As we wrap up Montana College Application Week, keep in mind that college includes any kind of post secondary education.  There are a variety of program available across the state to meet students' needs.  You can't enroll if you don't apply.

Academic Team : There will be an Academic Team meeting in Ms. Broaddus' room during lunch on Monday. If you are at all interested in joining the team and testing your trivia prowess, please stop by room B214 to find out more!

 

FFA: Please announce FFA Meeting next week on Tuesday at lunch time. FFA Officer Applications are available in the shop and are due back to Mrs. Hoagland By October 25th. Livestock Team will meet on Thursday at noon to practice.

 

Key Club: We are hosting a clothing drive. The clothes will be donated to Homeless youth “Home is where the heart is Program” The bins are in front of the Principal Office. Winning class gets root-beer floats.

Seniors:  If you want to retake the ACT on October 27th at DCC, you can still register, but you will have to pay a $30 late fee in addition to the regular test price.  The final day to register is October 14th.  The next test date will be December 8th, and you will need to drive to an out of town test center.

 

Drama: There is NO drama club or play practice this week! Don't forget to help with Missoula Children's Theater.

 

Seniors: Please check your school gmail as Mrs. Hoffer has shared a google doc that has a list of scholarships received by the counseling office so far this year.  Please check the document periodically for new scholarships as the document will be updated as new info comes in.  REMEMBER, there are MANY search engines you can use to search for available scholarships, so do not depend just on this document to find information.  Please let Mrs. Hoffer know if you have any questions, or if you did not receive an email with regarding the google doc.

Hey, Seniors! It's Montana College Application Week. Planning for college is a team effort. Who's on your team? Your parents, teachers, school counselor and coaches are all here to help!

Key Club: We are hosting a clothing drive. The clothes will be donated to Homeless youth “Home is where the heart is Program” The bins are in front of the Principal Office. Winning class gets root-beer floats.

FCCLA: FCCLA has a meeting today in the FACS room at lunch. Be ready to work and bring lunch.

Seniors: If you want to retake the ACT on October 27th at DCC, you can still register, but you will have to pay a $30 late fee in addition to the regular test price. Juniors and Seniors: The representatives from Carroll College and Black Hills State University will be visiting the counseling office on Thursday, October 4th. The Carroll rep will be here at 10:51 am (the beginning of 4th period), and the Black Hills rep will be here at 12:53 pm (following lunch). If you would like to visit with one of these representatives, please make arrangements with your classroom teacher.

Seniors: For any Senior wanting to retake the ACT, the regular registration deadline for the October 27th test date is today, September 28th. Students need to register at act.org. This test date is offered in town at DCC. Students, make sure you have your ACT ID which can be found on the results of the April ACT test, mailed to you last spring. If you can't locate that information, stop at the counseling office, and we can look it up for you.

 It's Montana College Application Week.   Every Montana student should plan to complete some type of education after high school.  The good news is Montana colleges offer a wide variety of options to fit the unique needs of our state's students, including certificate and trade licensing programs, associate degree's and bachelor's degrees.  Montana students have many options when it comes to attending college.
