Students: Homecoming dress up days!

Friday: Decade Day Seniors: Early 2000’s, Juniors: 90’s,

Sophomores: 80’s, Freshman: 70’s

All outfits must be school appropriate and we encourage everyone to dress up!!!! Have school spirit GO RED DEVILS!!!!

 

Students: The Missoula Children’s Theater is coming to Glendive October 1st-6th! If you like being in a play/musical and want to learn a lot of really great acting tricks and have a blast while doing it, Missoula Children’s Theater is for you! The show this year is The Snow Queen and is for any K-12 student. More information is in the office, please grab an audition form and return it to the office by Monday, September 24th!

 

Students: If your name is not on the parking block DO NOT PARK THERE!!! You will have to move you vehicle elsewhere.

Junior Class: Please meet at the high school right after school. Line up starts at 1:00 be here as soon as you can! Bring your own lawn chair please, for our class float.

 

Students: Have you ever wanted to travel internationally? Are you interested in a trip filled with outdoor adventure? What about visiting an exciting new city? Glendive students will have the opportunity to travel to Belize in June, summer of 2020… this trip is open to freshmen, sophomores, & juniors. Our trip to Belize will include exciting excursions such as snuba diving as well as visiting a local school. Please come to an informational meeting on Tuesday, September 18th at 6:00 PM in room C-213.

 

Forensics: There will be an informational meeting for all students who are interested in Forensics on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at lunch in B-218. It doesn't require commitment, so if you're interested, please stop by! 

 

HOMECOMING CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT! GRAB A FRIEND AND SIGN UP FOR THE 1ST ANNUAL HOMECOMING WEEK CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT! THE SINGLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT WILL BE HELD AT OAKLAND SPORTS COMPLEX ON TODAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH STARTING AT 6PM!  

Sign your team up at the office before September 12th!

Your 2 person team can consist of any 2 people in grades 6-12!

Cost is $20 per team – teams will pay when they check in the night of the tournament!

Great prizes to be won and lots of fun to be had! We will have music, food and other activities to participate in as well! Spread the word – the more teams the better!

All proceeds will go towards the DCHS Athletic Dept.

 

Lunch for today:  Tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwich, fruit, and milk or Salad Bar.

FFA: All FFA Livestock judging team members need to meet today in the shop at noon for first practice.  

 

Drama: DCHS Drama Club's first meeting is today after school in Mrs. Tuma's room (C-210).  This is separate from the play and is meant to prepare students for Improv Night.  Check it out!

 

Freshman: Tomorrow is the last day of you fundraiser.  Please bring all of your sales information  to Mr. Sikveland's room before school tomorrow.  Class officers please show up to help make sure that all information can be gathered before school starts.

 

Juniors:  If you plan to take the PSAT on October 10th, please sign up in the counseling office by Wednesday, September 12th.

College Fair:  Juniors and Seniors, if you plan to attend the college fair at DCC on Wednesday, September 12th, please stop at the attendance office and pick-up the parental permission form.  Remember, if you would like your absence to the college fair to be school related, you will also need to complete and turn back in to the office the college fair visit form.

 

College Fair:  The fair will be held at DCC's Toepke Center.  For those students attending, please leave all backpacks and extra bags in your vehicle.  The fair organizers are making this request in an effort to keep the college fair safe and less crowded.  Your cooperation and understanding is appreciated.  Remember, students need to pre-register and have their bar code available upon entering the gym.

 

Domestic violence: There is a survey for a support group in the nurse’s office if anyone is interested please fill it out and give back to the nurse.

 

Senior Boys: Practice for the senior boys dance will be held after football practice today and tomorrow. There will be food provided.

Students: last year's yearbooks are available for pickup in Ms. Siemsen's room B-218 before and after school. Extra yearbooks are also available for purchase for $50.
