National Guard:  The National Guard will be visiting DCHS over the lunch hour today, May 11th.  If you would like to visit with the recruiter, please stop at the table outside the cafeteria.

Baccalaureate: Seniors, Families, and Friends, Baccalaureate will be held in the DCHS Auditorium Sunday May 14th at 7:00 PM. Seniors, please line up in the hallway behind the auditorium toward the cafeteria at 6:40 PM for the Processional dressed in your cap and gown. Mr. Squires will be there to answer any questions.

Cheer Try Outs: We will be holding cheer leader & cheer chucker tryouts for the DCHS Fall 2017 season in the auditorium on May 15 from 5:30-7:30, May 17 from 6:30-7:30 AM (morning practice), and May 22 from 5:30-7:30 If you have any questions please call Mandy Boner at 377-2308 or 377-7857.start May 8

Lions Club Scholarship: Scholarship applications are available in the counseling office.  Apps must be post-marked by Friday, May 12th.

Students AND teachers: Do you have a favorite memory from this year? Share it for inclusion in the yearbook. Send your memory, up to 35 words, to Mrs. Olberding. Photos welcome! Deadline is tomorrowMay 12.

Z-CLUB: Attention *ALL* students! The end of the year is almost here. Z-Club will be putting on the annual kiss a senior goodbye dance on Monday, May 15 from 7:30-9:00 PM in the cafeteria. It is the last dance of the year and it’s FREE! Freshman, Sophomore, and Juniors, come say goodbye to your favorite seniors!


Students:  Summer is just around the corner. You can purchase your very own pair of DCHS flip-flops in the Principal’s office from now until they are gone! They are $17.00 per pair!!! Get yours today!!!

Teen of the Quarter 4: Applications for Teen of the Quarter are available in the principal’s office for juniors and seniors. Applicants will be judged on the following achievements: Character, Leadership, Service, Citizenship, and Scholarship. The applications need to be signed by 2 teachers and attach a wallet size photo. Two applicant’s will be selected. If you are selected you will receive a commemorative coin, and $100.00 Savings Bond. Deadline for applications are Tuesday, May. 16th by 3:30 P.M.
